Lift top

The lift top.. Because of its size its difficult to photograph, without having the whole trailer on the photo. We used completely consciously none of the many field recordings. Here only the lift top should be topic.

The lift top has several functions. It forms the upper enclosure of space of the trailer and has thereby a substantial optical function. This showes up on the many pictures which showes our trailers in the entire. The far more important functions of the lift top are the enclosure generally. The lift top protects both when driving and on the parking area outside effectively against wind, precipitation, temperature and particularly from UV irradiation.

Our lift top consists of a one-piece sandwich structure (external situation of 2x400, interior situation of 1x400 with a supporting core of 3mm Coromat). Thereby we achieve good thermal insulation. During temperature differences we nearly don't have condensation. The trailer remains dry with the usual temperature differences. In order to be able to exhaust condensation at high temperature differences, we install a solarclaimant ventilation system if you wish.

Because of the installation of a few frame-like reinforcements (Spriegel, stringers or raehms) we achieve a high inherent rigidity of the lift top. This is particularly important in the opened condition. In this case the lower critical point (chassis side) is missing and the lift top is practically free to move, only hung up on the turning point in front and with the gas pressure absorbers.

Only because of the lift top the trailer is not only a safe vehicle for the transport but also the hangar place. Our trailers are not only a replacement for a hangar place, it is the hangar place.
