Ramp - Holder at the tail gate - Transport

If your airplane should not be damaged in case of a longer transportation over highways, the ramp has to be secured in front and in the back. For this reason the support angles are appropriate at the tail gate. This angles are locking the ramp, when it is closed.

The lock of the ramp is taking place in more ways:

  • The ramp can't slip sideways because of the rails.
  • The ramp can't jump upwards because of the situation and form of the support angles.
  • The ramp can't slip in driving direction when braking because of the rails and the hook on the rails..

Because of these constructional things both, lateral slipping and upward jumping of the ramp is effectively avoided. Furthermore a control error is practically impossible.
