Gliders are constructed to fly in the air, but they can't stay there forever. For elegant storage and ease of towing on the highways, do yourself a favor and replace that old, worn out, hard to use, ugly homebuilt trailer with a Swan-Trailer . We build our trailers solid, durable, and to cradle with loving care your beautiful sailplane. Nothing is more annoying than to have good memories of a great vacation ruined with terrible memories of trailer rash imparted upon the once smooth skin of your bird by that old, ill-fitting trailer. You've cursed at and bloodied your knuckles enough with that old trailer. Replace it with a Swan.

Our trailer design includes a very rigid lower section framed with structural aluminum channels and an absolutely perfectly fitted lift top made with glass reinforced plastic. The standard color is white, but other colors are available to you as an option. Also, our trailers comply with the strict German regulations that allow towing up to 100 km/hr. (Our American customers report the Swan trailer will tow perfectly up to speeds of 80 m.p.h. Higher speeds have not been investigated.)

We equip our trailers with axles and tongues produced by the German company, “ALKO”.

Swan will custom-build your trailer to fit your glider like a fine glove. All brackets and fittings are constructed with aluminum and are covered with padding in the appropriate places.
